Directions
Approaching Whistler you pass through the neighborhoods of Function Junction and Whistler Creekside. About 4 miles after Creekside is Whistler Village. The first stoplight is Village Gate Boulevard; go 400 yards past this light to the next light, and turn right onto LORIMER Rd. Go about 80 yards, turn right again onto NORTHLANDS Blvd. Go up Northlands about 40 yards and take your first right into the Northstar or Twin Peaks Resort Driveway which is directly opposite the Market Place IGA (Village North. The third sign you see is for Valhalla; bear right and follow the driveway until it loops around the hot-tub complex (100 yards). Stop between the two shorter buildings on your right. Number 32 is the ground floor entrance on the side of the second building. Though you may load/unload in the circular driveway, leaving a car here will result in its being towed away.
Getting in
Please do not arrive before 4:00 pm, It takes 6 hours to clean the house, and with a check-out time of 10:00 am the home is not ready before 4:00.
February 2020: The combination to the front door is 1-5-2-3-4. First, clear the pad by turning the deadbolt switch in the only direction it will go (anticlockwise). Second, push each button firmly once. Third, turn the dead bolt in the OPPOSITE direction (from clearing the pad – clockwise) to open the door. If you find that the door still will not open, try to push down on the door handle while following the above routine.
NOTE: WHEN LEAVING, THE DOOR WILL NOT LOCK UNLESS YOU PRO-ACTIVELY TURN THE DEAD BOLT TO LOCK IT!
Supply Cupboard
Our club supplies are kept in 2 bags in the supply cupboard. There is no key. The house cleaner (Dominique) will leave the door open for us. It may looked closed, but push and prod and it will open. See above for Dominique’s phone number if you have an issue with this.
Parking and Trash Disposal
There is no longer a common area (parking, hot tub, etc) key. There are now combination key pads on all doors leading to garage (car entrance and pedestrian entrances), trash and hot tub. The combination is the same for them all: 32##602970. If you have entered the combination correctly, a green light will shine.
The parking spot is #47. Turn into the parking entrance driveway (on your right as you’re driving in from highway). Look for a small red sign and a key pad on the left wall denoting “Valhalla Garage” about 15 feet in. Punch in the code (above) and make sure you see the green light before proceeding. You do not see the garage door opening because it is around the corner. Turn left into the garage and go straight to the end, turn right, turn right again, and park in slot #47. The door right next to our parking slot leads upstairs to the home. If you have other cars you may leave them in any slot marked Visitors directly opposite. If these are full, drive around the garage to look for others. If there is nothing underground, park in Lot #4 which may have overnight parking.
Follow the above instructions for opening the garage door for each car. Do not attempt to drive more than one car through the gate on combination.
The side door can be used to access the garage and cars without having to go down the ramp etc.
For Trash disposal there is an outside dumpster and recycling bins right next to the entrance to the garage behind a locked door. Just use the combination pad to open the door. Please deposit trash and recycling here at the end of your stay.
