Our club was started in the mid 1980’s by skiers looking for others of their age group to ski with. We are a group of snow enthusiasts in our sixties and older, mostly older, living in the Vancouver area. The club’s original focus was on downhill skiing with an emphasis on finding affordable chalet accommodations for members in Whistler. The club has grown to over 80 members with an equal number of skiers and those enjoying snowshoeing.
Today our activities have expanded to the North Shore mountains. We have single day adventures and we also encourage multiple day trips in British Columbia.
We are expanding our horizons by holding events such as hiking and cycling trips in the Summer. We also have social events such as summer BBQ’s and Christmas parties to which everyone is invited.
PLEASE NOTE: Members must have at least two Covid vaccinations to join any of our club activities.
